In this thesis, the static and thermal analysis of a steam boiler used in power plants is conducted, focusing on the heating process where water is converted to steam to generate energy. Utilizing Fusion 360 software, the design and analysis of steam flow within the boiler tubes are explored. The thermal properties of various materials, including steel, steel 440C, and brass, are evaluated by assessing their heat transfer coefficients. Static analysis identifies the maximum stress and strength of these materials, while thermal analysis determines the temperature distribution and heat flux. This comprehensive study aims to enhance the efficiency and safety of steam boilers by understanding the behavior of materials under operational conditions, ultimately contributing to improved energy generation processes in power plants.
